FORT WORTH, TX — Wade Barnes, PE, Ph.D., CFM, joins Neel-Schaffer as a Water Resources Project Manager, based in the firm’s Fort Worth office.

Barnes has 21 years of experience, seven in water/sewer construction and 14 in hydraulics and hydrology (H&H) engineering. Barnes has extensive experience designing drainage plans for site development, including grading, utilities, pavement/parking lots, and detention ponds. He has designed stormwater systems and is experienced in the production of H&H modeling for stormwater systems, hydraulic channel modeling, and watershed analysis.

Barnes' addition gives Neel-Schaffer two Certified Floodplain Managers in the Metroplex and 12 across the company.

Wade is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and holds CFM certification through the Association of State Floodplain Managers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Houston and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Texas Tech University.
